Halo Custom Edition is avalible free for download from http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=410It allows for the use of custom maps, weapons, and vehicles. The maps themselves have to be downloaded and installed seperatlt, which will be covered later. After Downloading Halo Custom Edition you need to install it using a working CD key. After you patch to 1.08 you won't need the CD to play anymore. The Current mapcycle is as followed: CMT_Snow_Grove CTFYoyorast Island CTFBloodgulch CTF Hugeass CTFColdsnap CTF To Install custom maps first download and extract the maps you want. Next Put the example.map file in your maps folder in your Halo CE Directory. An example of this would be: C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo Custom Edition/Maps/ And there you go! You can now play using that map. Though if you don't have the map you cannot join a server playing that map and you get disconnected from servers if you dont have the next map in the cycle. _________________ For hours afterward, all they could see was the grisly silhouette of their master, screaming.
